The Frankston Sub Section was formed and inaugurated into the NAoA on the 27th of August 1963, from that date on, meetings took place in several tempory venues with the Sub Section members working extremely hard to raise funds to build and establish a permanent meeting place.

In 1968 the Sub Section purchased land in Barretts Road, Baxter and on this land they erected as it was to become affectionately known,"The Tin Shed" as a permanent meeting place.

Then after much more fund raising a permanant building was erected and opened as the Frankston Naval Memorial Club on the 10th of June 1986.

Unfortunatly this building was destroyed by a disastrous fire in 1989, however the members were not deterred and they once again all pulled together and on Augus 24th 1991 they raised from the ashes the magnificent club building that can been seen today.

The members are immensely proud of their acchievements as it upholds the motto of the Naval Association of Australia.

"Each for All - All for Each"

On the 2nd Sunday in November each year a Rememberance Day Service is held and all Naval, Affiliated and Social members are encouraged to attend making us truly 'All of One Company" On completion of the service members gather in the club for a light lunch and social drinks.
